BOTTLE UP & GO

Bottle Up & Go is another Wesleyan University connected act that is making world-wide notice with their latest release “These Bones” on Connecticut ’s Kill Normal label. They are a two-piece whiskey blues band built around a staggering slide guitar and thunderous drums. Occasionally, a sax player may mount the stage to cut even more sinister, psychedelic blues into the wash of sound. They’ve toured the country, been written up in foreign music magazines and now they’ll play on The Jeff Crooms Welcome Stage on Saturday at 4:00.

BEAR HANDS

Propelled by a sense of urgency, pushed by massive percussion and chiming guitars, anchored by a sometime manic bassist this beat driven, angst filled indie group is a dream on stage. Wesleyan connected, yet world known, they come to The Daffodil Festival hot off an English tour and multiple shows at SXSW.
