One of the best Lucier CDs.Mar 21, 2006
Although I'd be interested, by definition, in any recording of Alvin Lucier's music, this CD is one of the finest I've heard. "Still Lives" itself is one of the composer's most beautiful pieces: clear, but also mysterious. If you like Lucier, the Barton Workshop CD ("Wind Shadows" on New World Records) would be another excellent choice.
